Refund Policy
In force from 3 October 2026
We would rather you tried the tool properly than argued with us about a refund, which is why there are 14 free days before any money changes hands. If you pay and it still is not right for you, here is exactly what happens.
14 days, no questions. Ask within 14 days of any payment — your first one or a renewal — and we refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason.
How to ask
- Email billing@rakgeo.com from the address on your account.
- Say that you want a refund. One line is enough.
- We approve it with Paddle, usually the same working day.
- Paddle returns the money to the card or account you paid from. Banks typically take 5 to 10 working days to show it.
After the 14 days
This is the trade for the lower monthly rate on the longer terms. If you would rather keep the freedom to stop at any point, take the monthly plan.
When we refund outside the 14 days anyway
We will, without argument, where:
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- a renewal went through after you had asked us to cancel;
- the tool was unavailable or broken for a long stretch of your paid term;
- we withdrew or materially cut back a tool you were paying for — in that case we refund the unused part of your term.
When we will not
- You simply stopped using it, and told us months later.
- Your account was closed for breaking the terms.
- You are asking for a refund of a term that has already finished.
- Repeat refunds on the same account. One refunded term is fine; a pattern is not.
How to cancel renewal
Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not end the term you have already paid for, and it does not by itself produce a refund.
- Open any receipt email from Paddle and use the link to manage your subscription, or
- write to billing@rakgeo.com and we will do it for you.
We send a reminder by email before a six- or twelve-month term renews, so a long term never renews without warning.
A note on who takes the payment
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for every purchase on this site. It takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles the tax, and it is Paddle that processes the refund once we approve it. If you have a receipt from Paddle, that is the right receipt.
If you are not satisfied
Write to billing@rakgeo.com and tell us what happened. We would far rather sort it out directly than have you raise a dispute with your bank, and in practice we almost always find a way.
